Founded in Los Angeles

Baro Seto opens the first Curacao store in Los Angeles, serving the city's growing Latino immigrant community with electronics, furniture, and appliances.

1992

Rising from the Ashes

After the LA riots, the store is relocated and rebuilt — a turning point that deepened Curacao's commitment to its community and its people.

1990-2000

Ten Stores Strong

Curacao grows to ten locations across California, Arizona, and Nevada — becoming the go-to retail destination for Hispanic families across the Southwest.

2000s

A Full Suite of Services

Curacao launches Export shipping, travel services, internet access, and money transfers — meeting every financial and logistical need of its community under one roof.
